The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art will be closed in preparation for the upcoming solo exhibition by Nikola Ukić. The museum will reopen on March 16, 2023.

Slovenian artist Valerie Wolf Gang has created a video during artist’s exchange organized by KID Kibla, Maribor in partnership with MMSU, Rijeka.

Rijeka’s popular symbol Moretto (Morčić) is a traditional figurine, in the form of a black head, wearing a white and red turban. The Moretto symbol functions as an amulet, made to prevent the evil and the Other. Symposium 'Mauro Fiumano', organised by artist Fotini Gouseti, was dealing with this subject, and it took place on 28th of May 2020 through Jitsi platform.

MMSU presents artists on solo residency programme within EU project Risk Change. Solo residency programme took place from 6th of February until 18th of March 2020. In a third series of interviews meet artist, Fotini Gouseti.
